Prevalence Projections for Year 2000 (Adobe PDF file, size 447 KB)
Based on the Florida's Cost/Implementation Study for Public Law 99-457, Part H, Infants and Toddlers (1991), approximately 7 percent of Florida's infants and toddlers were estimated to be at great risk for a developmental delay or an established condition.  This table includes projected numbers for the 0-4 year age groups and 7 percent at-risk children in Florida Counties in the year 2000, according to the Florida Department of Education, Office of the Deputy Commissioner for Planning, Budgeting and Management, November 1996.
