Miami (Travel Required)
Since July 1999, the CHRIS Project has offered training sessions at the
University
of Miami Coral Gables campus. Training sessions are scheduled as needed at
the
training lab in the Department of Psychology/Flipse Building. Guest parking
is available.
Hotel accommodations are provided in front of the
University at the
Holiday Inn.
Regional (Travel Required)
Many centers have computer labs and facilities available for training. If a center is interested
in
hosting a session,
we propose the guidelines listed below for selecting the
best location in each region.
The requirements are:

Have
appropriate number of trainees optimal 8-12, minimum 6.

Have
appropriate number of computers in a laboratory for trainees.
|
|
|
Set up the facility and coordinate among the trainees in your region. |
|
|
Select
which training session is needed for
your participants. (See Topics.) |
Note: The
computer lab must be reserved for two days. The day of the actual training
and
the day before the training so that the CHRIS Team can finish setting up
the lab with all the materials needed for the training. Hotel accommodations
vary by center location.
